We arrived at the awards dinner with high hopes, after coming second place in the same awards a year earlier. And while we've been incredibly proud of the work we've done this year - helping more and more clients reach out to their customers, engage their employees and strengthen their brands - it's another thing for an external panel of industry experts and judges to tell us just that!
When making their decisions, the judges look at the cumulative impact of an agency's work over the preceding 12 months. Because we understand the value of measurement, we're able to provide solid evidence of the impact of our work. We can reliably demonstrate how our work has influenced, engaged and motivated employees across the country.
So, when the night's biggest prize came around, we were quietly confident of walking away with some recognition. But it's still a big surprise when you hear your name called out as class winners.
We also received the Award of Excellence for our work on The Big Picture campaign for Benenden, the mutual healthcare society.
These gongs come hot on the heels of last month's Employee Engagement Awards in London, where we were awarded the Highly Commended prize in the Project of the Year category - again for The Big Picture campaign.
And last September, we bagged another Award of Excellence for the same campaign, this time at the IoIC's National Awards.
In terms of awards success, 2015 has been our best ever year. More rewarding, though, is the way we continue to build and nurture successful working relationships with some of the UK's biggest brands. We love doing what we do, and we're always striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
